The Mobile World Congress is considered the largest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technologies from more than 2400 companies. Once again, Barcelona was the host and from the 25th to the 28th of February, it became the epicentre of the future.
Ovation Spain DMC had the opportunity to support its international clients and become part of this outstanding encounter! The general theme this year was “Intelligent Connectivity”, marking the beginning of a new era, defined by highly contextualised and personalised experiences delivered as and when you want them.
Including a complete program full of conference keynotes, track sessions, partner events, tours and seminars, it allowed guests to expand their professional network and witness today’s visionaries discuss the hottest topics of the industry.
This year’s edition attracted more than 109.000 visitors from over 198 territories. As well as the implementation of new technologies like the Mobile World Live TV and the facial recognition service BREEZ (Biometric Recognition Easy Entry Zone).
Enabling a mix of 5G, loT, artificial intelligence and big data, the attendees had the opportunity to participate in entertainment, transportation, environment and robotic demonstrations to discover how it will positively impact the lives of citizens and businesses around the world in the near future.
