Colombia DMC for Corporate Events, Incentive Travel & MICE Services

The Heart of Latin America

Strategic connectivity

Bogotá El Dorado is one of Latin America’s principal international gateways, with direct services from New York, Miami, London and Madrid, and a domestic network that connects Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena in under ninety minutes of flying time.

Top event infrastructure

High-profile convention and exhibition centers sit alongside 117 non-traditional venues, from heritage theaters and colonial buildings to UNESCO-listed landmarks, all equipped for corporate production.

Four destinations in one program

Andean highlands, Caribbean coastline, coffee country and tropical forest are each a short domestic flight apart, so a single itinerary can change setting completely without long transfers.

Culture as program material

Four recognized ethnic groups, more than 500 annual festivals and Indigenous, African and European roots give planners live cultural content for gala nights, team activities and gastronomy programs.

Ovation Colombia DMC operates through our Strategic Partner Programme with a trusted local destination management company specializing in the design and delivery of corporate events.

With more than 13 years in the Colombian market and over 50 MICE programs delivered for clients across the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Europe, our local team combines your strategic business objectives with deep destination knowledge. We manage groups from 20 to 700 attendees, assign a dedicated key account manager to every program, and cover the full cycle from concept development and venue sourcing through to on-site coordination and post-event reporting. Whether you require a large-scale convention in Bogotá or a tailored incentive in Cartagena, we provide end-to-end destination management with strong local coordination.

What makes Colombia unique for corporate events and incentive programs?

Colombia lets a single itinerary move between Andean highlands, Caribbean coastline, coffee country, and tropical forest, each a short domestic flight from the next. Our team designs programs that use this contrast deliberately, for example, pairing a convention in Bogotá with an incentive segment in Cartagena or the Coffee Region. Alongside high-profile convention and exhibition centers, the country offers 117 non-traditional venues, including heritage theaters, colonial buildings and UNESCO-listed landmarks.

Which cities and venues in Colombia does Ovation Colombia DMC work with?

Our core destinations are Bogotá, Cartagena, Medellín, the Coffee Region, and Santa Marta. In Bogotá, we work across large-scale convention and exhibition facilities as well as heritage theaters, colonial buildings and UNESCO-listed landmarks. Cartagena is used for incentive programs and gala events in colonial and coastal settings, Medellín for innovation and business-focused programs, and the Coffee Region for immersive cultural and agricultural experiences.

How much experience does the Ovation Colombia DMC team have?

Our local team has more than 13 years in the Colombian market and has delivered over 50 MICE programs for corporate clients from the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Europe. Groups have come from more than 10 nationalities. Every program is assigned a dedicated key account manager who stays with it from briefing through to post event reporting.

What types of programs does Ovation Colombia DMC specialize in?

We specialize in incentive travel, corporate meetings and conventions, product launches and commercial launch tours, team building and CSR activities, and executive-level programs. Our strongest segments are incentive houses and corporate direct clients from North America and Europe. Tailored proposals are issued quickly, usually within a few working days.

What group sizes can Ovation Colombia DMC manage in Colombia?

We manage programs from 20 to 700 attendees. That range covers intimate executive meetings, mid sized incentive groups and large scale conventions, and the same local team handles logistics, accommodation, transport and production across every size band.

How does Ovation Colombia DMC manage safety and risk for corporate groups?

Every program is built around vetted venues, suppliers and transport providers, with routing, timings and on site supervision handled by the local team rather than subcontracted. Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena are the country’s established business event hubs and have invested substantially in tourism infrastructure.

Come and be Inspired by Colombia

"The experience with this DMC has truly been amazing. We specialize in organizing group travel all around the world, and their service and attention to detail are outstanding. Our company's motto is always to find the yes we can, and with them we aligned perfectly. Whenever something came up, we worked together to solve it from A to Z, always offering the client a solution and always with the best attitude. Having an immediate response and a plan from A to Z is essential, and that is what truly makes the difference."

Mallinali Estrada, Director of Operations at Incentive House Infact

"When we arrived at this DMC we were very pleasantly surprised. They had amazing creative ideas. We created themed workshops with special moments and happenings, and each location had a moment connected to something meaningful. They took us to a spectacular theater where we knew we had to incorporate art, so we created the Gabotero dinner, blending art and menu design with what we wanted our participants to experience. Even though we could not take the group from Cartagena to Bogotá, they brought Cartagena to us in Bogotá, with graffiti, dancers, music, ballet and carnival."

Chief People Officer, Mexican Car Insurance Company

"With over six years of experience collaborating with DMCs worldwide, we can say without hesitation that this is the best team we have ever worked with. They understood our brand's essence completely and turned our ideas into reality. Every event had a genuine wow effect, from the entertainment and bands they curated to the last detail of the production. What made it truly special was how seamlessly they wove Colombian culture into each moment. A team you can trust completely."

Leading Austrian Skincare Brand

"We are very grateful for the professionalism you demonstrated. You are a responsible company, and the attention you showed to our group was outstanding. All of our guests were very pleased with the entire event, and the team was attentive to us at every moment."

HR Manager, Qualitas

"When we talk to our clients, they are so used to going to the same destinations. We have found a gem for them. Not that it was not here before, but it feels like discovery, and we have found something that can speak to our customer. You can only do things like this with great partners."

Kip Horton, Senior VP Talent Support and Strategy, HPN Global

Sustainability and community impact in Colombia

Ovation Global DMC works to a global sustainability framework, and our programs in Colombia add a measurable local layer. For every traveler on a program, our local team contributes USD 10 to community-led projects selected for relevance, feasibility, and long-term impact on local economies, creative industries, and cultural heritage.

Three projects are currently supported:

Ecotours La Boquilla

Protecting mangrove ecosystems and promoting responsible tourism in Cartagena’s coastal communities.

Guatapé Symphony Band

A youth music education project that has been running for more than 25 years.

El Observatorio El Cafetal

Preserving agroecological coffee farming traditions within a family-rooted community in the Coffee Region.

For procurement teams and sustainability leads assessing destinations against ESG criteria, this provides a traceable contribution for each program rather than a general commitment.
