An Inside Tip for Foodies
San Sebastian or Donosti is famous for its PINTXOS, which are small finger foods served at bars and taverns throughout the Basque Country. Gildas was the first PINTXO in history, and they are made of a mix of pickles, which include olives, anchovies & chili. You can taste the best Gildas in Donosti at La Bodeguita Donostiarra (Peña y Goñi Kalea, 13).
Vibrant Activities to do in the City
A walk through Monte Urgull, situated at the end of La Concha beach, could be an interesting option for the afternoon. It is a natural area with exotic vegetation where you will have a perfect panoramic view of San Sebastian. Furthermore, there are numerous lookout points around the area. Each will allow you to enjoy unique views of the city.
A Breath-taking View of the City
If there is something we love in Spain, it’s the sunsets. Here in Donosti, you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most impressive sunsets in the Sagües area. Have something to drink at a bar at the beach
and relax. To find this area, you must look for the “The Dove of Peace,” one of the most iconic sculptures of the city.
