Panama, a small and easily accessible country, located right in the heart of the Americas, caters all types and sizes of events. It offers unique venues, including the largest one in the region, the new Panama Convention Center, located at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. Panama’s public transportation system includes the subway or Metro, the urban bus system better known as Metro Bus, taxi services, private transfers, car leasing and digital transportation apps.
The new Panama Convention Center (PCC) attracts large business meetings, offers enough space for larger and smaller meetings that also may require physical distancing, with a capacity of up to 23,000 guests. The brand new convention center is the largest and most advanced in the region.
The PCC offers sweeping ocean views and will soon be further complemented by the new Isla Perico Cruise Terminal. The PCC sits on 13.8 green hectares (32.3 acres) and inside there are 61,175 square meters of configurable and contiguous spaces including: • Ground Floor: 41,310 square meters (444,657 square feet) • Second Floor: 805 square meters (8665 square feet) • Basement: 4,165 square meters (44,831 square feet) • Parking for 1,700 cars with independent entrances and a dedicated ground transportation area.
