Ovation Denmark DMC has created a new exciting half day program exploring the new food scene in Copenhagen.
The journey starts at Nyhavn, the old harbor which is a classical Danish experience. From there, we walk across the harbor bridge and enter the exciting world of new Gourmet restaurants and Street Food pop ups.
What used to be the Docking area of Copenhagen harbour is now developing into an experimental zone of new Nordic cuisine.
Innovation is the key word in restaurants like Barr, Noma, Amass that are all located in this area where we will do some tastings.
We finish at “Reffen”, the new urban area created for Street Food markets, creative workshops and startups overlooking the harbour from the “raw” side. The guide is an experienced food specialist.
The program can be extended to action activities in the B&W Hall (a former industrial complex at Reffen) or a visit to the Freetown Christiania – a partially self-governing hippies neighbourhood of about 850 residents.
The program is suitable for both incentive groups and as an add-on to conferences in Copenhagen.
