EHA Congress lived the Night Watch painting of Rembrandt

This June the 24th European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress was held at the RAI in Amsterdam. Approximately 12,500 hematology health care professionals and another 1700 pharmaceutical industry representatives from around the globe met, learned and networked in Amsterdam. It was the largest EHA Congress ever recorded.

Ovation Holland DMC had the task to run a smooth side program during the congress. Every evening side events were organized in all kind of sizes, even including yoga and the living Night Watch! Seven dinners in four days, for in total around 835 guests, located all over Amsterdam and managed by Ovation’s Patty and Lotte. A Kick-off dinner at Strand Zuid, a Board dinner at the Michelin star Rijks Restaurant followed by an evening with multiple events at Amsterdam’s finest venues.

Living Nightwatch

2019 is a special Rembrandt year in The Netherlands and specially in Amsterdam. The opening show at the RAI had to reflect this of course. The Living Nightwatch made its loud entrance with their drums. Walking through the delegates they all ended at the stage, taking their places and ending up as a perfect copy of Rembrandts’ famous painting. Picture perfect!

The opening show was followed by the Presidents Evening at 5* Hotel de L’Europe and on the 15th of June, the last day, Ovation Holland DMC organized the EHA Grooves at NEMO science centre. An evening filled with science and dancing. A combination that worked very well.

Ovation Holland DMC looks back to an awesome collection of events and got huge compliments from the EHA organization.
