Discover our tips and recommendations about France as a corporate destination from the eyes of a local expert.
The city of Colmar in Alsace
One of Clémence’s favorite hidden gem. “Walking in its streets with hundreds of century-old half-timbered houses, lovely canals and flourished pedestrian town centre. The city has an impressive selection of quality restaurants and shops and the region offers a gorgeous wine road.”
Provence and the Côte d’Azur, French Riviera
The French project director could never get tired of Provence: “A charming region with beautiful landscapes, wine, sun, picturesque villages, lavender fields, fountains, terraces…”And when we asked her about her favourite holiday spots, the answer was “the French Riviera also knowed as Cote d’Azur. There are many sights to explore in this region, so my favorite wouldbe the old city of Nice, the Mediterranean resort town of Antibes, the glamourous city of Cannes, the Foundation Maeght in the lovely village Saint Paul de Vence.”
Historical attractions, cuisine and culture
According to Clémence, these are the dishes you must try if you are in France: crème brûlée, crepes, soufflé, macaroons, croissants, ratatouille, escargot, truffles, duck l’orange, filet mignon and foie gras….
Moreover with such an extended historical heritage, she also suggests what attractions not to miss:
- Landmarks: Palace of Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Mont Saint-Michel, Somme Battlefields, Charles de Gaulle, Notre Dame Cathedral, Palace of the Popes, Paris Catacombs…
- Arts & Culture: Claude Monet House in Giverny, Louvre Museum, Palais Garnier Opera House, Mona Lisa, The Thinker of Rodin, Musee d’Orsay.

Tips and trends to delight our clients
“Our clients travelling to France for an incentive program wish to enjoy unique experience. They want us to offer something that they could not do by themself. Our daily challenge is to create tailor-made programs and to get them into the French culture & Art de Vivre.” Clémence also shares a good tip to remember when travelling to France: “When visitors arrive in France and want to take a taxi, they need to be aware that taxi drivers can be very rude… and it’s because they don’t like to speak English…”!
